PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The DIAnet Schools offer a unique opportunity for young researchers to familiarize with issues regarding the sustainable development of the Danube River Basin. The main goal is to provide systematic knowledge of a humanities-driven interdisciplinary research.

Researchers from different countries and different fields of study can work together to tackle sustainability issues of the Danube River Basin through an interdisciplinary perspective.

A combination of lectures, excursions and group work will provide both theoretical training based on the state-of-the-art and improvement of practical skills.

Proceedings published after the School will help researchers make their project ideas visible to a larger public.

The School editions focus on the sustainable development of the Danube Region through

Contribution to Danube Region: 

DIAnet Schools are the basis for building capacities in Danube Region.
