A short presentation of yourself:
Like researcher, my major fields of interest are cartography, geovisualization, global changes and geoecology. In 2008 I finished my doctoral studies in environmental geography at the Al.I.Cuza University from Iaşi (Romania) with the dissertation „Geosysthemic analyse of Anina town urban and sub-urban area”. An important part of these doctoral work is dedicated on social investigations and mapping the relations between social perception of urban/industrial landscape and social-economical disparities. In the last years I worked on some research projects on urban reneval in the post-socialist city, noise pollution and freshwater ecosystems using GIS. My published research papers are on sustainable development, waste pollution, social compulsion and social identity through the urban morphology, freshwater ecosystems.
