Tourism, Cultural Heritage, Environment and Sustainability
A short presentation of yourself:
PhD student, education profile PhD in Geosciences (Tourism), at the University of Novi Sad in Serbia. During my studies, a range of volunteering programs (some of which had a big importance for Serbia), summer schools and practices, student exchanges, but also engagement in different working and academic environments enriched my skills and competencies. In certain cases, this also meant engaging in less demanding and lower positions, but I saw that as a good basis and undoubtedly useful for a better understanding of domestic and foreign tourism industry.
My diploma thesis was about UNESCO heritage site Felix Romuliana, Roman ruins in Eastern Serbia and I have published several papers with a focus on cultural heritage in Serbia. Likewise, my master thesis had in focus river cruises along the Danube, hence topics such Danube region and sustainability are also familiar to me. During PhD studies, contemporary forms of tourism, as well as global tendencies in tourism are being researched.
