A short presentation of yourself:
Currently I am a Fernand Braudel post-doctoral Fellow at the French Research Institute for Development (IRD France - FMSH - Labex Corail) where I work in an interdisciplinary team (biologists, economists, ichthyologists, bio-statisticians), in the field of environmental anthropology on a project concerning the social representation of the coral reef ecosystem. My research interests include maritime anthropology, Danube River Basin, anthropology of tourism, Danube Delta, cultural change, cultural and natural heritage, museum studies. Focusing on the fishermen communities and on the human-environment relationship, I have conducted field research in the Romanian Danube Delta, Central Italy and in the South-Western part of Madagascar. Since 2013 I am member of the Danube Sturgeon Task Force (DSTF) http://www.dstf.eu/ and I take part actively to all the meetings and workshops organized by the working team.
