Regional Geography; Local and Regional Development
A short presentation of yourself:
I am a Teaching Assistant of Geography, Babes-Bolyai University, Faculty of Geography, Department of Regional Geography and Territorial Planning. My teaching activity and my research interests have been focused on urban and regional geography, local and regional planning and development and my work includes studies materialized in several papers published in national and international journals, my PhD thesis on urban core-periphery relations and contributions to several projects such as the transnational cooperation project Tisa Catchment Area Development (TICAD), co-funded by the South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme. As a good understanding of the natural heritage is crucially important in the elaboration of local and regional development strategies, I consider that the 2014 DIANET International School will definitely represent an opportunity to put my experience into practice and a chance to work in an interdisciplinary and multinational teamwork environment.
