A short presentation of yourself:
I'm a civil and environmental engineer. I got my degree in 2011 and then worked in a small but known company in Slovenia, designing mainly wooden structures. Since 2016 I have worked as a teacher at two different high schools in Italy for a couple years and then in November 2017 I started a PhD in Civil Engineering in Trieste. My research project is about seismic vulnerability of structures and I'll study also innovative devices for seismic retrofitting of existing buildings and for the design of new buildings. As a PhD student, I'm interested in widening my knowledge, so an Interdisciplinary School sounds very attractive to me. Moreover, I'm very into sustainability, that's also why I love wooden buildings and everything that could help to keep our Earth healthier.
