A short presentation of yourself:
I am a post doc researcher specialized in environmental biology and plant physiology (of lichens, in particular, but also of vascular plants, bryophytes and algae). In the last few years I have studied the effects of many pollutants and toxic substances on plants. Moreover, during my studies (Master’s degree, PhD) and in my current research programme I have worked on many project about innovative technique to study and control the biodeterioration of historical and cultural heritage; therefore I tried to use my knowledge on the biology of plants in a field not strictly related to the biology issues. This has been a very intriguing target and I suppose that the arguments of the 2015 DIANET International School could me to enlarge my knowledge in all the fields I am interested in.
