Ing. arch. Peter Morgenstein, PhD. (male) is a young researcher, since 2013 member of scientific staff of the Department for Building and Environment where since 2016 he is head of the Centre for Architectural Heritage and Infrastructure. He graduated in architecture from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Slovakia, where he has also finished his doctoral studies by defending his dissertation thesis titled: Typology of Solar Town Planning: Energy Cooperativeness of Urban Structures. Presently, he also works there as a researcher in the Institute of Ecological and Experimental Architecture at Faculty of Architecture, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. His research is focused on sustainable urban design, integral urban planning, smart cities and utilization of solar energy in architecture and urbanism.
