Economics, Complexity Analysis, System Dynamics Modeling and Simulation
A short presentation of yourself:
My academic and professional activities are interdisciplinary with a strong interest in complex systems modeling-simulation and data analysis applied to sustainability in its economic, social and ecological dimensions. I have more than 15 years of work experience in organizations like INCAE Business School (Costa Rica and Nicaragua), University of Graz (Austria), the World Bank, Habitat for Humanity, among others. In the last years I have also taught several courses in Innovation and Sustainability Management and Complexity Modeling and Simulation at the University of Graz. I hold a doctoral and two master degrees from four different countries, i.e. Austria, Norway; Barcelona Spain, and Costa Rica. My research methods are intensive in complex systems modeling-simulation and data analysis using programming software like R, Powersim Studio, Vensim, Netlogo, etc.
