A short presentation of yourself:
In the past 6 years I worked in ecology and conservation of large carnivores, amphibians, reptiles, and a recent extension towards invasive alien species, with a focus on Danube (Delta) - Black Sea coast and Carpathians. I published results by elaborating and testing a broad range of hypotheses such as: (i) population estimates in capture recapture studies; (ii) movement ecology, habitat selection and systematic conservation planning; (iii) landscape connectivity and corridor predictions under habitat changes; (iv) statistical modeling of wildlife vehicle collisions; and (v) species distribution databases and ecological niche forecasts under climate changes. My strengths are quantitative wildlife ecology and conservation planning based on the solid background I have in GIS and statistical modeling. Yet, I also have solid skills in field ecology, particularly of amphibians and reptiles.
